Windsor Police Meet with MH100 Youth Program

A partner update on Windsor Police meeting with young people connected to MH100, and the conversation and connection that came out of it.

Last week, Chief Bellaire and members of the Windsor Police Service had the opportunity to meet with Mehari Hagos, founder of the MH100 Youth Program. This impactful organization, based in inner-city Windsor, is dedicated to providing recreational, educational, and mentorship opportunities to children and youth who need it most.

The meeting offered valuable insights into the experiences and challenges faced by young people in our community. More importantly, it sparked meaningful conversations around how the Windsor Police can collaborate with MH100 to help build a safer, more inclusive Windsor for everyone.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Mehari and the entire MH100 team for welcoming us and sharing their vision. Your work is inspiring, and we are committed to supporting your efforts as we move forward—together—toward a brighter future.

Stay tuned as we continue to build partnerships that uplift and empower our youth.
