Give

Give with purpose

Help meet the need.

A gift here becomes school fees, food and clothing, rent while someone gets back on their feet, and steady backing for the organizations doing this work every day.

Giving is handled securely by CanadaHelps.

Generosity put into action.

We put every gift to work through education, benevolence, citizenship, and support for organizations close to the community. Your generosity makes room for practical help, opportunity, leadership, and lasting partnership.

A gift joins work that is already under way.

Donate securely

Trouble with the form? Give directly on the Foundation’s CanadaHelps page instead. CanadaHelps processes the donation and issues your tax receipt.

Other ways to give

One-time gift

Give once, securely, through the Foundation’s CanadaHelps page.

Monthly gift

Set up a recurring gift through CanadaHelps. Regular giving is what makes planning ahead possible.

Give in honour

Give in someone’s name using the optional dedication feature in the CanadaHelps form.

Cheque

Make it payable to The Griffiths Family Foundation and post it to 325 Devonshire Rd. Suite 300, Windsor, ON N8Y 2L3.

Interac e-Transfer

Send to info@griffithsfoundation.com. Please add your name and address in the message so we can send a receipt.

Another way to give

Donate securities or mutual funds

Gifts of publicly traded securities or mutual funds are completed through CanadaHelps. Because the capital gains tax on donated securities is eliminated, giving this way can go further than selling first and donating the proceeds.

Tax receipt

CanadaHelps provides the donation receipt through its giving flow

Will I receive a tax receipt?

Yes. CanadaHelps issues it as part of the donation process. If you need help with a receipt you already have, CanadaHelps support can sort it out.

Can I give monthly?

Yes. Choose the monthly option in the donation form and CanadaHelps handles the rest. Regular giving is what lets us and our partners plan past the next season.

How will my donation be used?

Gifts are directed to the Foundation’s own initiatives and to the community organizations providing hands-on help through education, benevolence, and citizenship.

Can I give to one specific program?

Gifts are not designated to a single program. Pooling them lets us move where the need is greatest at the time. If there is one area you care about in particular, tell us and we will talk it through.

Can I give in another way?

Yes. You can send a cheque or an Interac e-Transfer, both listed above, and publicly traded securities or mutual funds can be given through the securities form further down this page. If you are considering a gift over $1,000, please get in touch with us directly first.

Is my payment information safe?

Yes. The donation form is hosted and processed entirely by CanadaHelps, so your card details go straight to them and never touch this website.

Giving is one way to take action.

There are other ways in as well. Talk to us about partnership, volunteering, or a question about a program.
