Walking for Women: Windsor Life Centre Raises Over $55,000

A community walk brought people out in support of Windsor Life Centre and the recovery-home work it does, a hopeful picture of what a neighbourhood can do together.

On May 24th, Windsor Life Centre (WLC) held its annual Walk-a-Thon—and the impact was powerful. With the help of over 100 participants, more than 330 generous donations, and key partners like The Griffiths Family Foundation, the event raised over $55,000 in support of WLC’s recovery home for women.

These vital funds will help provide a safe, supportive space for women on their journey to healing and transformation. The day was filled with hope, community spirit, and a shared commitment to changing lives.

WLC extends heartfelt thanks to every participant, donor, and volunteer who made this event possible. Your compassion and support are helping women in our community take brave steps toward a brighter future.

We are deeply grateful—and already inspired for what’s to come.
